I wish I could say this is from Jay Leno’s funny headlines bit, or one of those chain e-mails passed around the web. Or even someone else that I know who works for a different company so that I don’t have to be ashamed to admit that these are the same people who sign my paychecks. But no, this is from an e-mail sitting in my inbox, from my corporate Risk and Safety department - telling us that from now on our safety reports are to be sent via e-mail, not fax. And, this e-mail goes on to say, “for those of you who do not have access to e-mail, you are welcome to continue faxing it in.”

Chances are, if they didn’t have access to e-mail to send out the new reports via e-mail, then they did not receive this e-mail telling them to go ahead and continue faxing them in!

At least at my company, they’re bright enough to add, “Please pass this on to the folks without E-mail”…
