Dozens of people have died in protests over the Danish cartoons depicting the Muslim holy prophet Muhammed, and dozens more have been injured, and at least four European embassies have been torched, as tens of thousands have protested and clashed over the cartoons.

Today U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said that things “could spin out of control” if measures aren’t taken.
