A Colorado man who mocked the vice president for having accidentally shot a friend was himself accidentally shot by his girlfriend, in much the same way, just hours later.

Josh Kaiser said that “I read that thing about the vice president and said to myself ‘How can you shoot your friend with your gun?” Hours later, his girlfriend accidentally shot him while they were out hunting raccoons, and now he has his answer.

The bullet went through Kaiser’s neck, out his chin, and lodged in his arm. Upon being discharged from the hospital Kaiser said “I feel fine. It feels like a cigarette burn.”

No word on who gave him the cigarette burn.
