Tom Malin is running for office, for a position with the Texas state legislature. And, oh yes, Tom Malin used to be a male prostitute.
Also a recovering alcoholic who has been sober for more than a dozen years, Malin says that “he’s turned his life around and doesn’t regret his past.”
Ironically, he apparently doesn’t realize that many would consider going into politics a lateral move from “male prostitute”, not turning his life around.

Who is worse for Texas — someone who once worked as a male prostitute, or someone who blatantly violates
campaign laws, who enages in mudslinging that makes Lee Atwater look like a baby in a sandbox, and who
orchestrated the most unbelievably unfair redistricting in the history of the United States — in short,
someone who is a political whore of the top order? The correct answer is — Tom DeLay is worse for Texas!
Kudos to thatsironic.com for pointing out that from escort to politician is certainly a lateral move.
