Free Child Care Limits Parents Choices

Hmmm..now this is ironic. According to the BBC, the availability of free child care reduces parents choices, because it “renders private and voluntary facilities uneconomic, thus reducing available places.’

How Ironic is This??

    This goes along with what happened to me on Martin Luther King day.
    I invited a friend of my daughter’s to spend the day with us as her mother had to work and her mother explained that she gets free day care and will be cut off the program if her daughter doesn’t go. So it’s free but if you lower thier costs 1 day then you can’t have it?
